Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, U.S.A. was an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile character. Linney was born into theater-related families, her father, Romulus Linney writing plays. She received her degree from Brown University, and then continued to attend Arts Theatre School Moscow. New York City was her first stop in the 1990s. Her first appearance was on Broadway before receiving acclaim from her role as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
