Taylor

Taylor Swift may be the most rare of all pop stars. She was an artist capable of effortlessly bridge the gap between country and pop and conquer the world. Swift shed her country roots as though they were part of her skin revealing that she was perhaps the savviest popular singer/songwriter in her generation someone who was able to harness the mood of the moment and personalize it and just as impressively perform in the opposite direction. Swift's talents could be seen in her earliest tracks, notably the neodue Tim McGraw. But on her second album Fearless released in 2008 Swift could identify who she is and find an audience that was large. The album was a huge success, not just on American soil, with six platinum-certified singles. Its Top Ten songs Love Story and You Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. But, it also did well all over the world. Swift was able to consolidate her progress with Speak Now almost two year following. The singer's popularity increased through her three subsequent albums - Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift had now established herself in a genre where she belonged. As she cut her style with the stripped-down releases of 2020, Folklore, and Evermore but she was still at the top. It was a position that was confirmed by re-recordings from her past catalog, as in Midnights the synth-based chart-topper 2022 album.
