Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own group of musicians with 3 schoolmates, which was dubbed the White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, the band also took part in 2010. In spite of always having always shown interest in music he also wanted to be a lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. In order to support his family, he spent some time in a bakery. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. It was for this reason that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a new band called One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group took place in the year 2010. The five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they made it to the finalists. They came third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. Even though Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco recording label.
