Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. Her songs were written before she learned to write or read. Her first guitar purchase came when she was just 8 years old and started singing at a Knoxville Tenn radio station at age 11. The same year she released her first recording on Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. In high school she established herself local, but longed for having a bigger stage. The day after she graduated in 1964 she moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first single to reach the top of the charts at the top of Monument Records. Around this time, Porter Wagoner was looking for a new girl singer for the show he had syndicated to television. Parton took the job in 1966, she joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. Then, in 1974, she left Wagoner's Show because the success of her singles like Joshua Coats from Many Colors or Jolene was outstripping their joint releases. After their split, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and it climbed to Number. The first time that a song was able to reach No.
