She began her acting career in 1996, when she appeared in her debut in the TV production Her Costly Affair. It was a long road to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller character. She struggled with the transition into acting since models were not considered as an actor, so they usually got smaller roles. Amy was determined to keep trying.
