KingBennett was signed to Durk's Label Only the Family after his performances with. He adopted the stage name King Von and had his first hit single "Crazy story", out in December. This song reached the Billboard Hot 100 at number 80 and the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Charts at 32. Also, it received millions of YouTube views. The song was released in May 2019. Von the band released "Crazy Story 2.0" it was the sequel single. The sequel featuring Lil Durk is a remix to the song that was released in the beginning. A follow-up/remix, titled "Crazy Story 3.0" was also made available in September.
